New England Primary Care, located at 55 Hazard Avenue in Enfield, held and “official” open house reception on Monday, May 14th. Visitors had an opportunity to meet Medical Director Dr. Ian Tucker, Founder Dr. Michael Gutman and the New England Primary Care staff. Over thirty people were in attendance, including North Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce (NCCCC) President Bob Saunders and NCCCC Executive Director Mike Vezzola. The event featured a site tour, ribbon-cutting ceremony and complimentary beverages and light fare.
New England Primary Care first opened at the beginning of January next door to its affiliate, New England Urgent Care.
“We know people are busy. So, our office is open when it fits their schedule. Think of the urgent care model but for primary care,” explains New England Primary Care and New England Urgent Care co-founder Dr. Michael Gutman.
New England Primary care offers a full spectrum of family medicine, which promotes wellness and treats acute and chronic illnesses for all ages — from infants to the elderly. Medical Director Dr. Ian Tucker oversees the highly skilled medical staff that coordinates all levels of ongoing patient health. The staff also administers vaccinations, immunizations and physical exams for DOT, work, school, and sports.
